Our shared passion for travel, Camilla’s natural talent for hospitality, and Tommaso’s organizational skills, refined through many years running his restaurant in the heart of Rome — a beloved gathering place for artists and locals alike — inspired aunt and nephew to bring La Casa delle Tartarughe to life: the family home where every traveler would wish to stay.

Why the name La Casa delle Tartarughe (The Home of the Turtles)?

Because this is my childhood home, where I, Camilla, grew up.

I have started collecting turtles from all over the world since the queen of the house, mother Mirella, for me always lovingly resembling a turtle, left us.

Because the Turtle is home, it is family: what we want to be for you.
